It seems never tiring to create a new commercial twist of this small segment of the Chinese History.  This time, a Japanese director decides to bring the story to the cinema by year-end, with a humorous approach.

Some initial footage is just released recently.

Even for the on-lookers who lack understanding of the Japanese language, it is plain obvious that one of the selling points is the cast.  The presence of the “Once-in-a-thousand-year” Hashimoto Kanna is probably a good enough reason for fans to buy a ticket.
