Authentication Error in WordPress, How to Solve

So my other site has experienced a weird issue which prompts me with a dialog box with authentica error.  Here’s the trick for the fix.

1. Go to your .htaccess file in the home directory
2. Edit the file and include the following text at the end (or anywhere which doesn’t break other scripts)

   <filesmatch "wp-login.php">
   
   satisfy any
   
   </filesmatch>
